Hey,

Would love to say well done one the site much good info on how to do things..

am looking to find out how to hack freeview atm, everything so far is an intresting read would love to work on a system that is automatic and is not needed for daily codes weather its via a chip or system that atomatically gets the new code signal.

i know i am not allowed access to any vip stuff till i have had 20 relevant posts but i thought i should say hi ans thanks for the great informastion (Y)

welcome on board neorage,
its nice to see you are taking an interest....fresh ideas are always welcome.
are you starting from the beginning? or have you already worked on something?

well i not started on anything yet.
originally i was browsing for the xtraview codes and came across this..

i know there is a key gen avialble but so far been unalble to try it. i was thinking of a way to actomatical get the internal reference feed from a system and in theory automatically have a key gen that auuto updates..

or perhps a chip that in theory creates the random viewer ID to auotmatically assign one that will alway give a "1234" pin persay?

at the moment its ideas in process and with some help of the more knowladbe folk, get the process in.

and perhaps move on to something th descramble TUTV. (although its not in high demand. would be a fun project)

Looks like you have been searching for a while…. Xv has been off the air for months now
However there are other channels that use the same system. If you wish to view these channels all of the necessary information is already available here. All you have to do is read the posts.

If you wish to go further and attack encrypted channels then first you have to understand the system you wish to attack. Again the info is out there if you look hard enough.

Best of luck.

funny reali as i can still get XV on my box..

just recently retuned..

its a mediamaster t9860..

i dunno wheather on not it works but hey..

yeah i have searched for a while back from when tutv statred prob is no 1 bothered with it as it atint really worth it concidering what you can get on cable..

just would be a fun project to start on..

i have read the algos for the red hot hacks, prob is i dont have a DTV card on my pc.. and cant get the stream info.. so no luck there lol..

Hmm… So far as I know xv is still broadcasting the updating service message which means they are off the air (will check this tomorrow though… thanks)

So here are your options for rh ss and possibly xv

A buy a digital TV card for your pc (to be able to generate a mheg file yourself and/or tune these channels manually)

B buy a different freeview box (one that you can tune manually so as to be able to view these channels)

C get a friend who has a digital TV card in there pc to send you the mheg file

D get an online keygen

E write your own firmware for your existing box (to enable it to be tuned manually)(I don’t know of anyone working on this but you never know)

F Some sort of hardware mod (Work in progress Involves small screwdriver, double sided tape wd40 and a 14lb hammer):)

TUTV is another story (so far as I know no one has figured this out yet.) and you really will have to understand the encryption system before you start playing with this. The good news is that other smart card systems (including on digital) have been broken so we know that it is not impossible (looking into how these attacks worked is probably the best way to learn) if you want to work on this the next thing you will need to do is make yourself a season interface (or buy one)

in saying that in 1990 I once reactivated a sly card by using a screwdriver inside the vcrypt decoder (still don’t know what happened but it worked for six months)however when I tried to repeat this, I not only blew up my decoder, my flatmates TV went bang too (very expensive) would not recomend it:Cheers:
