Hi all,

Is anyone else here a member on footyonline.tv? Reason i ask is as for the past week if you try to visit there site it re-directs you to a new site (freelivefooty.com) where i've not signed upto so obviously not registered.

I emailed the support of this site and explained the problem and got this back in an email from them:-

"...For unknown reasons we are receiving a high amount of traffic from a website formally known as footyonline.tv, we are not affiliated with this website nor do we hold it's users information. If you have been a member of this website previously feel free to setup a new account with ourselves, any disputes with unfulfilled subscriptions should be raised with footyonline.tv via PayPal, as a buyer you are protected and will receive a full refund from them..."

Seems a bit odd that the site is referring visitors to a new streaming membership frickin site to me. Has anyone else (maybe other members) heard anything on this and when it's likely to be fixed?

Yes same here mate, I have opened a dispute with Paypal but no reply yet since last Thursday.
 
dont pay for fcuk man theres plenty free advice and urls here for you in streaming footy section.


just take a look theres loads there there all a bit rough no matter if you pay are not hope you stop your subscription and use whats good and free.

right ive subbed to this service for a couple of years, then it all went of a couple of weeks back.

they have merged thier site with footyonline.tv so if you have payed subs they will honor it.
my account wasnt recognised so i used the live chat feature and they sorted it out within a couple of mins (they needed my user name, my email and my paypal transaction number).
the original site has been hacked and taken over by cybersquatters they will most likely take your money and run DONT FEED THEM. they are hoping to get the site back asap, but in the mean time they have asked that i pass this on to any subbers i know, so here it is.
footyonline.tv has always been A1 in my experiance and i hope this new service will be as good if not better.

My season ticket ran out on 29th July 2009, earlier in July I paid 18.00 season ticket offer that was offered, logged in today to find my subscription has not been updated, have had no reply until 21.34 when a email came saying done and logged in to find subscription has now been updated. :banana:

Just had an email asking for my username so hopefully i'll be up and running again soon.

Nice how they told members they have moved to a new site. How many other users aren't aware they've changed to a new site and going to be p1ssed as out of pocket here i wonder.
 
i did get an email a while back saying they had server probs but it wasnt until i googled the site it showed the link, i got on the live chat and he explained what had happened. i guess they lost a lot of data and were unable to email everyone of there subbers who knows?. but i suppose if you put a paypal claim in this may have pointed you in the correct direction. at least they havent run off with the money at the very least and are honoring payed up members - i suppose they could have ran off quiet easily - but then again i would have never subbed to another site like that again.
 
Has anyone actually used freelivefooty.com. They are advertising a 10 month season ticket for £18, which seems good value. Any idea about the quality of picture etc. I have used liveonlinefooty.com before and found everything fine, but they seem to have stopped the season ticket offer ie to watch today only is a sat special for £3.50.

No DO NOT trust them, they are cybersquatting on someones elses site, as they have a redirect on i would never use them. if you email the site i mentioned earlier in the thread they maybe able to help you - i found them very helpful.

thanks for this guys, i had a nightmare yesterday trying to get the footie on. Cost me £3 on the dodgy site, and no it doesnt work. Finally came on dw to see if I could find another decent site and luckily read this thread.
Back with the real footyonline now, like a few others its my 3rd year with them. managed to watch the second half ,no problems.
 
FLFooty | The Internets Online Sports Streaming Resource as they are now known are a fucking joke, nothing is ever right in the schedule when the football is on the server load is too high and there support is a joke, they are rude arrogant and nothing is ever their fault its always something else.

BEWARE THIS SITE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND USE THE FREE SOPCAST AND FSI

I paid my 3 quid and feel compelety ripped off I havent seen 1 match yet where it plays all the way through without there being some problem or another its pathetic.
