well mine are under the bookmark tab m8 so a think yours should be the same

That's not quite what I meant.

Had a look in the mozilla folder and buggered if i can see it

There is a way of restoring the default user profile that might help

Just forgot where I saw it, it's here somewhere

It imports them if they are there but does not store them there afterwards.

You need to go to Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks > File > Export...

I think that should output a file which you can import after a reinstall etc.

c:\Documents and Settings\Your windows username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xc0uwjs2.default.
The end bit might be different for you.
