can anyone tell me the latest software/fix for the max v ? i used the one called UFL_MAX_V_5_12_04 on a friends box last week and it updated ok but all channells have dissapeared again.

Are fta working ok?
go to the hidden menu and check if the emu is on

Yes thats the right one tell him to go to menu,language then 1968 twice make sure emu is on and press default key
exit out and switch box off at plug then on again and leave it on a blank channel for 5 mins something like itv4
