euro vox max help

my mate gave me a eurovox max and when u power it on two dots apeer where the time is ment to be ive tryed tuning it in to the tv and no joy is there a loader software that i can re flash it if so where and anyone any ideas how to get this machien to go cheers dannyboy

You may need to flash it with a eurovox jtag.

is it blue eurovox. There seems to be 2 common problems at the moment. first the flash may be corrupt if so the you will need a eurovox jtag. The other problem is 1000mf capacitor on the power supply board. If you have the means to measure the voltage then make sure you have 3.3v before you do anything.
