entitlements run out tomorrow

doesnt matter what version of oscam you running

dont be fooled by newer is always best

no problem here with regards updates on old or new

if configs are good should fall into place

There was a few versions in the 8XXX range that did not send emms through for NDS, cant remember off the top of my head the exact versions tho

same here

but never had issue

oscam 6 years old still works

upto most recent working fine

weird science

you could try changing pin number

that used to work fine but not sure if that method still works

or stick a line in other box in bedroom with yes @ end

i dont know any other way

2 choices wait bit longer

or bite bullet & stick card in original reciever

that way get your sd channels back for a spell @ least lose your HD which will happen anyways

Only thing I can suggest is change the following

Before:

[account]
user = dvbapi
caid = 0963
au = 1
group = 1
ident = 0963:000000

After:

[account]
user = dvbapi
caid = 0963
au = skyuk
group = 1
ident = 0963:000000

Cheers, .user and .bak and leave it as it is in .conf ?

TBH I don't see why that line needs to be changed from the original :confused:

Because dvbapi is updating reader skyuk.
So user dvbapi need au on reader skyuk.

ok, changed it in .user and will see if it updates, thanks

You could add the au = skyuk to any of the users, that user will then send updates to the card...

Just to add.. I know that works if the user/client is using mgcamd

Cheers Digger, just added that to one,

Do I have to restart oscam to see the entitlements or is there another way ?

I would always restart it after any changes but that's just my preference ;)

When I started this thread I was using a version of oscam that I found somewhere on this site, when using that version no emm's were being written to the card, how I checked this was to go into the reader tab and disabled all emm blocking, there should have been global emm's coming in right away and lots of them but there were none, eon (thanks again) suggested to try a different version of oscam and after I did, emm's came flooding in, I waited for 24 hours maybe less and the card updated. The version I'm using now is oscam r9691. Upgrade to this version as I can guarantee it works
