I think the idea of the ban is good but giving it out to Eduardo is wrong they should have come out and made a statement to say any player found of connning the ref will be dealt with and pointed out the Eduardo issue and stating the players will get a ban should they be found of cheating.

I can see people like Gerrard being absent for long spells in the Champions league should this happen also that coont Fabregas who cheated in the semi-final which meant Fletcher got a ban. Maybe they should look at reversing the punishement as well, as Fletcher should never have been banned for the final.

I hope it's confirmed tomorrow Eduardo gets a two match ban because putting him in the lime light will do him a world of good. He sure has the talent to become one of the top prem players the media spot light will help him getting use to it.

ive had fun reading this thread, its just like talksport radio they have talked of nothing else.

as Arsenal fans we feel aggrieved its one of ours that by the looks of it is going to be made the example of, quite simply because its been going on and getting worse for years, in all honestythere are many better ref conners and divers than eduardo.

i have along with others on this forum in discussing diving have said we (arsenal) have a few that go down a bit quick and would like to see it drummed out of football.

ALL clubs have players that take a dive and any fan who says their team has no divers or cheats as talksport like to call eduardo has rose tinted glasses and needs a reality check.

i am all for it to be sorted out and if it takes eduardo to get a 2, 4, 8 match ban to sort it so be it BUT what ever is done needs to be consistent across the board and all and every time a player is seen diving they need to have the same punishment.

i somehow doubt it will happen
