G Gandalf2k Guest Mar 9, 2002 #2 An ECM interrogates a card until it gives a false reply. When a false reply is given, the 'Unable to validate' message appears. Each new hex that comes out overcomes this reply, until 1** wise up to it & bring out a new ECM.
