Former Celtic and Feyenoord midfielder Evander Sno has suffered a suspected heart attack in a reserve match between his club Ajax and Vitesse Arnhem.
The match was called off as Sno, 23, was resuscitated on the pitch.
A statement on the Ajax website said the player was conscious and responding to doctors in hospital in Arnhem.
The Dutch U-21 player spent most of season 2009/10 on loan at Bristol City before returning to Amsterdam to push for an Ajax first-team place.
