Hi all
Can anyone point me to a tut for the new Dsi.
looking to do my own card,But what card? From where?
and then what?

Reading some tuts but getting a bit mixed up with all different info.

Thank in Advance

all u do is put the acekard files on micro sd card
with a folder called game.
to do that u willuse a micro sd adaptor (i got loads if u need any)
or a usb adaptor.

here is an easy tut for acecard.

1. buy an acecard2i and a microsd card plus adapter.

2. download the latest akaio firmware. (akaio 1.8.1 is the latest currently available...)

3. place your micro sd card into your adaptor and connect to pc either by usb port or card reader (depending on which micro sd adapteor you have, makes no diffrence.)

4. format your sd card fat 32 (go to my computer, right click sd card, select format fat 32)

4. extract the files from akaio rar file which you downloaded in instruction 2

5. copy the _aio and akmenu4.nds file to the ROOT of your sd card

6. add games, these are nds roms easily found on the net. you can put them in a game folder orr straight to root of sd card , it's up to you.....

point worth mentioning....

moonshell:
this is a homebrew app which allows you to play various media files on your ds/dsi.
most commonly used for playing movies...

as to how the moonshell app is run, depends on your gamecart
setup is diffrent for diffrent gamecarts....
movies have to be put in a special format to run on moonshell app, this format is called dpg.
if you are looking for movies to run on ds/dsi, then search forr movies and add ".dpg" to your search.
movies can easily be converted to to .dpg format and apps to do this are found easliy online.
i personally use a converter called "BatchDPG1.54".
very easy to use......

which two files, can u post a screen shot of your sd card?

Hi bzzer just checked the roms i had on and the ones that dont show are 7z files
and dont end .nds
just loading more finishing .nds and will see if they all go on,
let you know in 5 mins.

Thanks

Is there a diffinitive NDS roms list, as I have got more than both those sites (5638 with 5425 being the highest number), but the numbers seem to match NDS9 website, the numbers on games-down don't seem to bear any relation to the ones I have.

Or is it a case that each sites make up it's own numbering system.

ok m8...
when you extract the roms.
you put one file on (which ends .nds) per game, the acecard creates the other file .nds.sav

Buzzer Thanks m8
thats it i was loading wrong roms i downloaded,i will delete them all.
and make sure they all end in .nds the roms i put on.

Thanks again.

Don't delete them!

7z is another form of ZIP file. Just download 7zip free program and unpack them, you will be left with NDS files then.
