Dreambox Motor Setup

A bit of a newbie question but the Latitude I put into GotoXX e.g. 52.57, is that the same latitude i need to use on my motor?

As at the moment I got 52. 57 on my Gotoxx setting but 59 on my motor

Son of a bitch!! if I get 1 thor to work then 28.2 dont work if 28.2 works then none of the west satellites work

Was using 500s until my Dm800 arrived today and now the tuner on that is a bitch!

PS anyone got satellite listings / bouquets for Dm800?

I recorded some signal reading off the 500s today.Good dry day.
Just wondering if they look ok for a 1m dish in my location.52N,8W.
These are the strongest transponder readings.
30w~ 91%
15W~90%
8W~87%
5W~90%
1W~91%
5E~90%
7E~88%
9E~88%
13E~90%
16E~83%
19E~92%
23.5E~89%
28.2E~92%
39E~89%
42E~92%
I cant seem to get 7W,4W,21.5E,26E,31E,33E and 36E.
10E is just about there .
What do ye think ?

Looks like my dish has blown off line already.
Seems to have rotated West about 20 degrees on the pole.
The motor bracket to tighten on the pole is poor quality,I cant tighten it properly.
Will have to replace them.
Odd it moved West, wind is from that direction.
Awful gales last night ,not looking good for long term.
What is the best position to park the dish to minimise the wind load ?

I made a slight alteration to my setup today.
I cut out some steel plates 4 inch by 1 inch and 5mm thick.
I drilled 2 holes in them and put them on behind the motor clamps.
I can now tighten the motor on the pole without the clamps bending.
Dish is rock solid now.
The clamps that came with the motor were poor quality, they bend when you tighten them.
I nearly had a bad accident, slipped on the roof which was wet but just managed to grab the pole on my way down, could have been nasty.

well done mate, I just got a test server cccan from a site I found using google (satcardshare)and have to say it works perfectly.
