Dreambox Ftp Login and password ?

I have a dreambox c and would like to access the box by ftp.

Do i need to start a ftp service to access the box ?
Is the a login and password ?

My ftp client is stuck and is telling me can't access the server ....

In most cases the username will be 'root', and the password is 'dreambox'

I've tryed to change the CHMOD of the Keyfile.txt to 444 to avoid the rewriting of the file but the dreambox still overwrite the file, create some new lines and i can't get the channels on....

Is there a solution ?

that file needs to be written to. no point attempting to make it read-only. it wont save you.

You really need to CHMOD that file to 755 as it needs to be written to even with AU disabled.
