I just tried trying to change the comport on my laptop. The same thing happens. I can not achieve communication in combination with lan and service cable (and only with the service cable), I tried even with and without the network, but it does not help. Thank you in any case. I do not know what else to do.

You could try plugging it back into the network power up holding the front button down ( I know you say you get a blank screen ) but then log on to your broadband router to see if it shows up on there with a IP address if it dose you could then try to flash to that address
