What image are you trying it on mate ?

Try installing via telnet for a better description of the install error.

trying on a duo using vix build 726 (for clone) mate, 2.0 is working just cant update to 3

Just try the install via telnet and report the error, pretty sure is will be a dependency missing

Sorted it. Actually did a software update on via which had 3.0 built in so all good
