Dongle Emulation

We have software at work that uses a USB dongle as a licence. Is there a way to emulate this dongle so I can have the software on another PC & laptop

The dongle is made by alladdin and is the hardlock type?

Not unless you can find a patch for the software which is very naughty so I can't recommend it!

The point of dongles are that they are hard (best case impossible) to copy.

There seems to be quite a few sites that offer a "dongle backup" type service. Are these dodgy then I guess?

It might have been done, there was some press about various secure microcontrollers a while back.

and if its what i think you mean, then yes its possible. I done it

Not emulating the dongle but exporting the certificate from that dongle is easy.
