Sensible Topic Dodgy Reviews/Ratings.

I know that Trustpilot reviews have been anything but trustworthy for years now, and recent publicity suggests that Amazon customer reviews need to be taken with a large pinch of salt.

It's been interesting reading the imdb reviews for new films appearing on the Torrent site I use. They often start off with 8/9 reviews when they first appear, but rapidly drop below 5 when people actually start to watch them.

Can't trust anybody these days.

I tend to ignore reviews of movies, tv shows and games. I'm sure ppl are paid to give positive reviews of all mentioned at first release.

I've lost track of the amount of games, and movies that have given stunning reviews but i've hated.

Some time back I bought a number of Nintendo Switch SX Core mods from a Company in China. They have sent me numerous emails since asking if I would give them 5 star reviews for their goods on Amazon in return for free goodies.

I'm not interested. I buy quite a bit from Amazon but would never trust their reviews.
