DM500s low snr

Hey guys,

recently a lot of the channels on dm500s are not clearing (inc fta), showing a low snr level (below 60%).
tried on motorised and fixed 28.2e feed (which work fine with spiderbox).

also tried re-flashing the image but no joy...seems like tuner is on its way?!
is it possible to fix this issue?

if not, then not sure whether to get another dm500s or are there any other cheap sd box that can also be used as a client (cs)?

Nothing as cheap or with as much image choice and software support, user community size as a 500S...look at getting a Dm500S V8 clone they have improved sound output, apparently better tuner than some other clones, and have power switch fitted as well...DX sell them around 50 quid delivered.

Or you can look at Technomate TM500/Super think they are around 70 quid. Should work fine if you only want to use a client reciever...you will only really have the choice of the UR Team image though...Not the image choices you have available on Dreams like Nabilo, OpenPli, Gemini, EDG Nemesis etc..

You can probably even get a DM600S clone for around 75 Quid, with PVR and swappable plug and play tuners

recently gave me dad a dm500s so will get that back for meself and get him a tm500 super (as it will only be used as client).
