I was thinking of getting one of these for my 6800hd, all the threads I've found on here about them are quite old, so are there any improvements with this, ie. is it anymore stable with ccam?

Is it a good thing to get so I don't need the pc?

Google for Underworld 1.91, It is a good Cam But a bit overpriced.
If you could find a Dragon Cam second Hand you are better and cheaper off ...

no wifi with them tho is there?

6900 doesnt have ethernet so if you want to use one for c/s the wifi is the one to have.

i was going to buy one for my spare 6900 but i'll be fecked paying the money people want for them.

They are not very stable on CCcam, better off with linux receiver.

i have a linux receiver a dm800 thats not the point the point was i have an 6900 laying about doing nothing which i wanted to hook up in the bedroom, that was my point,

the other point wasnt anything to do with me it was a reply to an answer on here telling the guy to go for another sort of cam totally which will be no good if he wanted it for c/s.

for c/s as far as im aware only the wifi one will do unless you want to hook your box up to your pc.

Only good for Newcamd = Diablocam Wifi. They say CCcam was fixed with the latest Underworld. Has anyone tested this ?
I Think Duolabs should stop dumping their hardware without proper support...
Diablocam Vxxx - QboxHD - Qbox - ... ANd oh la la la they will bring a qbox MIni as well. Please Nooooooo More !
At least Give us a cam where we do not have to pay for every 6 months ...

What I meant was, CCcam on Diablo Wiffi Cam in TM6900 sucks, useless, I have tried, CCcam on DM800 perfect.

is it a hardware or software thing tho or is it a distance ecm thing with it?

because i would be sharing from my dm800 downstairs to upstairs, i cant see that being an issue unless it is software or hardware related.

its no big deal i just wanted to make use of the box i have laying around, i only watch it when im in bed anyway and i have freeview in the tv and sky player on the xbox 360 so get movies and sports.

i would only buy one if it was cheap anyway for the price some people ask for the cam i could buy a cheapo 500 or 600s.

anyway sorry op it wasnt my thread but hopefully it gives you some sort of answer.

I see what your trying to do, perhalps Wolfje can answer this one, I think you can use Newcamd to share from your DM800 to you Diablo wiffi sitting in your TM, I know on CCcam its useless, works faultless for about half hour then starts freezing badly, could be a heat issue I suppose but apparantly works OK using Newcamd protocol.I even had a wireless AP sitting right next to the Diablo incase it was a wiffi signal problem but made no difference, CCcam still rubbish.I think Wolfje uses Newcamd for sharing between receivers.

Hope this helps

Yup, newcamd works great with Diablo. You can even add 5 newcamd lines !!

I Used to map the Gbox shares with mpcs towards the diablocam.

Of course you could use newcs + CCcam on your Dreambox.
In that way the diablocam would be able to get to the smartcard that is in your Dreambox. (newcs = newcamd protocol)

I would not use CCcam. It is terrible on the Diablo Cam Wifi.

i've set a wifi cam in my db7020 using cccam and uw1.93 without a problem.

Diablo WiFi 2.3
Underworld 1.96
CCCam 2.1.4 on server (VU+ Duo)
Technomate 6900 +
Result = perfect i.e. no freezing every 10 secs

Technomate Magicpatch 7.22 CCCam Menu 8281 = freezing every 10 secs

You get what you pay for, incidently the 6900 runs a white card perfectly in its slot as long as the boxkey is entered sports HD etc perfect.

Server in Belfast
Client elsewhere in Belfast
Client elsewhere in Spain

Hi,
Many thanks for all this information and for this great forum. I am new to this so please excuse my lack of knowledge.
I have a TM5400 andwould like to know what new channels/packages the diablo wifi cam will bring to the receiver. What is the best software for this cam. I receive hotbird, astra 19e and turksat.
Many thanks for your help

Re: diablo wifi cam + TM5400

I happen to run this at this very moment, works great

I use CCcam with latest underworld (user CCcam server version 2.1.x Works 100% stable)
Also the Emu is great at this very moment ...
Nederland Digitaal on astra 19.2 E
XXX porn on 13 E hotbird
French Channels package on Astra 19.2E and Hotbird 13E
I'm a happy man ! :)

Re: diablo wifi cam + TM5400

I am new at this so please excuse my ignorance regarding the issue 

I am struggling with the question should I buy Diablo WiFi or Dreambox 800 HD?

The decision would be easy if I would not have Sony KDL-46V5800 with integrated HD satellite receiver. Since I also use PS3, the idea of one remote control for TV, PS3 and satellite receiver is quite appealing.

So the question would be: Will I be able to use Diablo WiFi for stable card sharing for HD channels on my integrated Sony HD satellite receiver? If yes, what would be things to have in mind (like advice should I use GBOX, NEWCAMD or CCcam). I am interested in basic operations with as much possible HD channels support.

Thanks a million for any answer :)

Re: diablo wifi cam + TM5400

I would not bet on that. In My opinion, integrated Stuff never goes well with other 'Special' Satellite Hardware.

I would not recommend it ! You should try and borrow a Diablo Wifi cam and test this .

UPDATE :
Also, Like most brands, the satellite receiver needs to be pref. 'patched' in order to work good together with playtoys like CAMS & Progr . Smartcards , SMartWii, etc ...

Re: diablo wifi cam + TM5400

Unfortunately, I have no one to borrow Diablo wifi from. It is really disappointing that I will not be able to use integrated sat receiver.

However, thank you wolftje on the reply. I joined this forum since you were quoted in other forums as the best Diablo wifi expert, so your opinion becomes verdict. Dreambox, here I come! :)

Re: diablo wifi cam + TM5400

Hi Chaps,
Many thanks to wolftje for all this information on wifi diablo
I understand that there is a card sharing "scheme* available with diablo wifi. My question is: Is it possible to get connected with the network via my tm5400 ci super or do I need something else. Where can I find this cardsharing network?
Many thanks for your help and guidance!

You can use the following protocols :

Newcamd
Gbox
CCcam

I cannot help you with the cardsharing server. As most members already noticed I'm very annoyed by those who earn money with sharing and ask for a monthly fee. Very Illegal as well. In my opnion you better have your own dreambox with a valid subscription of a provider of sat tv and share with whom you want over the internet. At least,
1. you'r ok concerning the laws of your country and the sat tv provider of your country
2. you can reshare your subscription towards the tm5400 with Diablo WIfi
3. You can share your subscription with others who have a subscription as well on the internet and keep the system 'clean' of people who ask money for this.....
4. If everybody share something the 'system' will keep itself healthy !

Just wanted to point out that a little effort putting in our 'hobby' pays off !

Re: diablo wifi cam + TM5400

Thank you Wolftje.
At then end of the month I am subscribing to biss to receive all french channels with no fuss. For the price I thing it is reasonnable compared to sly uk.
I have spent a lot of time reading different forums and as I am always interesting in learning new skills. I bought a diablo wifi and am waiting for the programmer so I can get started.I understood reading different post that it is possible to get bis on 13e but I don't want to wait for me to perfect the skills to get it. As for those who ask for a fee for card sharing I don't think that they undertand the basic principle of helping each other to get aroud some problems so that with everybody's skills and enthusiasm we can all enjoy a great time in front of our tvs without ruining us!!
Nevertheless I am under the impression that it is possible to have s l y. Is it possible to get everything via special white c a r d enhancemment?
Thanks in advance all for your help.
