Just started scanning for macs again and found that DHCP Sniffer is listing wrong Config names with the mac addresses.

I get quite a few cmreg-ntlhm250-bund03.cm macs but when I use them I have to use a Config name of cmreg-ntlhm200-high.cm for the 250-bund03 mac to work. :frown:

has anyone else having the same problems?

Are you using a 200 modem? May be because you have to use the correct config for your modem to get online now.

:)

no Im using a ntl 250 & motorola sb5100i do I have to use a motorola config name for the sb5100i?

Depends on your area and what updates it has been hit with m8.

Some area's like mine are locked to 250 MAC, 250 Config. If you try a 200 MAC on a 250, no bandwidth.....

Likewise forcing configs in my area = no bandwidth.....

:)

Cheers MONKey for the info, do you know anyone who can fix 250 modems which have taken the update as I have got 3 sitting here. my soldering skills are rubbish so I need to find someone who will sort em out for me.

Sorry m8. Keep hold of them as hopefully we'll find a way to restore the bootlaoder one day ;)
