I am going mental trying to fix this as its stopping me going on the Internet wireless or wired through my sky router.
Is it knackered an time to buy another laptop???

Dhcp 1068 error

I have tried netsh winsock reset catalog an it didn't fix it

Also netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt it didn't work

An resetting tcp/ip an restarting laptop numerous times an allowing all permissions to*
Dhcp and tcpip through currentcontrolset etc

All didn't fix it??????

No Exos it hasn't so I tried to force it but it just keeps stating the 1068 error?????

Right I have redone a restore to begin of dec an it didn't fix it???

I have followed the link Exos put on and have the 3 driver folders afd.sys, tcpip.sys and netbt.sys present, however when I checked the number of dependencies it differs slightly to what is shown the binary path name is the same except after
-k my laptop states LocalServiceNetwork instead of netsvcs but I can't see this being the problem.

The dependencies are also different as it states they should be Tcpip,Afd an NetBt but my laptop states
NSI, Tdx an Afd?????? So no Tcpip or NetBt in the list???

Could this be the problem an should I remove them via the registry but if so how do I add the missing 2 ie Tcpip and NetBt??????

Thats ok, edit the registry and remove the tdx entry:

hklm\system\currentcontrolset\services\dhcp

Then try to restart the DHCP service

Right I just checked the Running of hidden devices ie drivers an they state
Afd started and on system
Tcp/ip protocol driver started but on boot startup type
netio legacy tdi support driver ie I assume Tdx is stopped and on system??? Does it still need deleting
