I Found This on another Forum Might Help Until a Proper Fix!
DBOX2 HOW TO MANUALY ENTER KEY'S USING THE REMOTE CONTROLE
First Download The Latest Keys, using Key Master or
You will Find them on The BigMaq Toolbar! Just Google BigMaq"
1. Using the D Box Remote Control Press the blue button
and you will be in the features menu,
scroll to Tuxbox Commander, press OK.
You should now be looking at the files on the D Box.
2. Scroll to VAR and press ok, If you don't see VAR,
scroll to <DIR> & press ok,
if you still don't see VAR scroll to the next <DIR> and press ok,
keep doing this until VAR appears on the screen!
3. When you find the VAR file and you press OK, scroll to Keys & press OK
If you use "EVOCAMD goto Keylist.txt"
If you use "MGCAMD goto SoftCam.Key"
Here I will be using SoftCam.Key! You Scroll to whatever you Use!
4. Scroll to SoftCam.Key and press 4 on your remote control!
It is important that you don't press OK when you scroll to SoftCam.Key ,
you must press 4 in order to edit the code that will appear!
If you pressed OK in error , just press the Home button and start again.
5. After pressing 4 you should be looking at a screen with
/var/keys/SoftCam.Key at the top, and 4 or 5 lines of codes in the
middle and numbers 1 to 9 at the bottom.
POINTS TO REMEMBER:
EX C&W UK PROVIDER ID IS "5C01"
NTL UK PROVIDER ID IS "5401"
TELEWEST UK PROVIDER ID IS "5A01"
Use Only HEX Char's "0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,A,B,C,D,E,F," Zero Not the letter "O"!
6. Now you need to scroll to the code your going to change,
Look for the Latest date, For "TW" scroll to code 5A01 00. "This is Key 0"
7. When you have have scrolled to code you want to change press OK,
When you press OK, the code becomes slightly larger
and the first digit changes colour to red,
this is now your cursor!
8. Check the new Key's, and Scroll to the digit you want to change,
and then use the numbers on your remote to change
that digit to whatever character you want,
e.g. if you want to change the digit to 3 ,
you press the number 3 button four times until 3 appears, then press ok.
if you want to change it to a, b, c, d, e, f, Press 2=a,b,c 3=d,e,f,
Now scroll to code 5A01 01 "This is Key 1" and Enter the New Code.
Don't Forget to Press OK! when you have entered a new code!.
9. When you have changed the digit to the new one, press the Home button,
it will ask you do you want to save changes, if you are happy with the new change,
scroll to yes and press OK. or Press The Red Button!
10. You should now have changed the code, to get back to the TV screen, press home.
it will ask you do you want to save changes, if you are happy with the new change,
scroll to yes and press OK. or Press The Red Button!
11. In order for the changes to work you need to reboot,
press the D box button and scroll to reboot and press OK.
When it reboots you channels should be back!
