Ok mate had his wing mirror taken off by a driver,mate was parked up and other driver was going same direction as mate the other drivers passenger wing mirror smashed into drivers side mirror. Other driver said its ok il get it sorted and wont cost mate a penny, now the other driver said they want to go thru insurance and said it was mate fault anyway i told him to go to police and tell them get a ref number then contact his insurance. Anyway he lookin for a decent dash board cam he shown me a few off fleabay but to me they all sound same as each other with descriptions and that so i thought il ask dw. Someone bound to have a decent dash cam that they can recommend

Get an old smart fone ,put 16 gig memory card in, download autoguard from play store, it needs to be charging all time when on...job done cheap as chips but a good ap, I use it in my truck.

if your wanting something to record while your not in car then it needs to have event recording
so i would suggest you look at the specs
