i reserved one of these online on christmas eve, went to pick it up today.

and the shelf price was £76, but got it for £16

A word of warning though, from what I have read about this model it suffers anything from a slight to severe mains hum. If you are going to use this bedside at low volume it's something to consider.

I read that to about mains hum + dont always pick stations up

whats it like deedie ? as I was thinking of getting one myself

yes i read about this problem before i bought it, but thought it would be worth a gamble at £16.

@rat - i aint tried it yet mate, but will let u know when i do. but from what i read, mines could work perfectly and yours could suffer terribly from this hum. just seems to be your luck, but i will see. will update later tonight

i cant fault it at all. sound is crystal clear. one of the best £16 i have spent in a while.

Found this one £19.97 in pc world they have one a few miles from me but not local store

in case others wre looking at first post and missed it
