complete and utter newb needs help

i`m a complete and utter newb when it comes to card sharing and sats. but i`m thinking of jumping in with Dreambox DM800 HD Satellite Receiver on eBay (end time 25-Apr-11 17:20:32 BST)

the reason is the high def and ability to record. but have a few questions.
1. how easy are they to set up
2. will these be good for not glitching etc.
3. how much a month will it cost
4. is the dvi to hdmi the same as high def
probably got a lot more questions but don`t want to confuse myself lol

1. all depends on pc ability but plenty of help and info on here
2. all depend on which tuner is in the box
3. enough said
4. will output 1080i

You can get the same box for less from aliexpress. Horses for courses off course as you warranty will be with some guy from China so if you have problems then it can be a ball ache but I personally haven't had a problem with mine

Also you want to get one with a rev M tuner.

As for glitching, there are so many factors so things like the tuner in the box, you sat dish and how good your signal is, how reliable your internet is and how good your line provider is will all have an effect.

1. Depends on what you are after, single sky dish, loads of LNB's and multisatelites, motorised system.
2. As good as most, although loads of dodgy clones. I am on my 2nd.
3. No additional monthly cost as far as I can see on the auction. You are paying for the box, the box is yours.
4. YES, and contains the audio to the HDMI lead.

cheers, i`ve already got a sly dish installed from a couple of years ago, will only be using the 1 lnb and 1 box. i`m using virmin for internet on 10mb connection.
i was thinking more of the cost for subscribing to a provider,
