Communication Settings

Using a Technomate TM500 with Gemini image. When I go to the blue button and try to download a new soft cam, add-on, etc I get a message saying 'Failed to Download. Check you communication settings.' I have had a look at my communication settings and all seems okay to me, but if anyone can suggest what to do I would very much appreciate it.

My communication settings are:

IP: 192.168.0.3
DHCP: Enabled
Netmask: 225.225.255.0
Type: LAN
Nameserver: 192.168.0.1
Gateway: 192.168.0.1
Enable Network: Enabled
Port: 80
Mac Address: 00.17.52.50.**.**
Static IP: 2.216.148.***

Any advice would be appreciated.

download latest firmware to pc and flash using miniweb, see if that sorts it, I reckon it will.

I assume you mean to flash with the latest UR image?

I have never done this before as I am very new to all this? Is there anything less drastic that I could do?

try changing the nameserver to a DNS server that your ISP hosts.
