Comcast X1 best practices

Any tips how to properly connect the x1 system? as far as which splitters, filters and maximum number of boxes? we always have problems!

Experience has taught me going over 3 client/Xi3 boxes gives serious problems. The current x1 boxes use MoCA (multimedia over coax) version 1.1 and has a limit of 16 devices. Maximum raw speed is 270mb/sec enough for many simultaneous streams but everytime you add the fourth problems seem to arise???

spud1966 the fact the post may be old doesn't mean that it shouldn't be answered. Anyone searching for this answer now has it.

Or are you suggesting that my answering is somehow outdated? I am very familiar with this system working with them all the time and while the published specs of the version 1.1 claims a limit of 16 devices I can assure first hand that is not practical.
