close pc dvd drive via mouse

not really a problem as such but its a right royal pain in the erse none the less. my pc is in loft and connected with long vga cable to plasma in lounge. today i burnt a dvd which automatically ejected after it had burned. i went to test it and could nto get the dvd drive closed (without having to go up the stiars and physically close it) Now i know we can eject the dvd drive by clicking the mouse but how come there is no option to close the bugger this way also. Is there any way round this.

Did not use thi exact software as i was a bit put off by the"prank software" it automatcally installs but you pointed me in he right direction. got hold of tray commander lite which does what i want and more. ta
