Chilli growing from seed!

Well got a gift at xmas for growing my own chilli`s so i`v followed the instructions and they have started to grow but i think they are growing upside down as at the top of the steem the chilli seed is there!

Should it not be the other way round chilli seed in the soil and the steem growing out?

It`s hard to explain but i hope you`s can get it

Off the top of my head...

They might be epigeal germinators which pull the seed case out of the ground.

lol.. you made me laugh there mate hehe ..... you probably got an australian variety

they will be fine mate, lots of plants grow like this, just give um a little longer and the husk will soon drop off and leaves will appear ......
