I'm a complete noob to satellite but I've managed to stick up a dish on the side of my house ( 20 stone and ladders don't mix but I got the git up ). B&Q £40 with receiver, Philex jobbie, and pointed it somewhat in right direction ( 70% signal strength and works fine ). Fitted a quad LNB and running 2 boxes, the original Philex pos and a Grundig Freesat HD box which I got really cheap.
I'm having an issue with the said Philex pos. Everything seems to work fine but I get no sound on Chart show, 11642 V 27500. It's fine on the Grundig. Is there something simple I'm missing or is the Philex really a pos? ( it is but why no sound on this channel ? )
