CD & DVD cd-dvd

evening all,
I downloaded a film which said it was a cd-dvd sharereactor has anyone any idea how to burn this .
when I tried it all I got was sound but no vision--
all answers greatly accepted

what type of file was it .avi, .mpeg ,divx asf wmv ?

Hi Big A,
I had a look on sharereactor and the film is a divX (avi), so it sounds to me like you need to have the correct divx codec installed on your pc.
I have the divx 5 bundle & nimo50 build 7 codecs on my share directory on the dw hub, download & install them, hopefully should sort out your problem.

hi m8 as our friend says it sounds like a divx u need the codecs then use tmpegenc to convert it to vcd or svcd then u can burn it with nero

panasonic mpeg encoder is very good ive found it better than tmpge.

After downloading the codec,s I went back to tmpegec and hey presto a perfect copy.
I appreciate all your help, I thought I was going to be left with a sound only film---!!!

Thank you all for your help with this problem. I have now got it safely burned.
I never cease to be amazed by all the help that is available
