Oh well unlucky, you perhaps know the main ones are GDR8161, 8162, 8163 and 8164 DVD-Rom drives. Over time I've heard of folks say try this and that drive. But these four still seem to be the main ones. Although someone a while back posted on the 'bay saying their laptop drive, who's model escapes me, was capable of reading wii games.
So never give up, lol.
