hi, don't know if you have Roxio 5 (Adaptec) platinum but it includes Spin Doctor which is specifically for cutting Lp's and casettes to CD - v good help files included - it reduces hiss, removes small scratches etc - can do alsorts with it - need a decent soundcard though

Yes spin doctor would be your best bet m8 like daing said so all your scratched records would sound alot better....... <img src="graemlins/dizzy.gif" border="0" alt="[dizzy]" /> <br /> <br />And get yourself a sound blaster live sound card one of the best sound cards around about £25<br />Thats put me in a spin <img src="graemlins/crazy.gif" border="0" alt="[crazy]" /> <img src="graemlins/dizzy.gif" border="0" alt="[dizzy]" /> <img src="graemlins/crazy.gif" border="0" alt="[crazy]" /> Gazer. <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

I've recorded a few sets to CD before, it works great <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Get yourself a cable that has 2 RCA (Phono style) plugs on one end and a 3.5mm (headphone style) jack on the other.

Plug the RCA's into the Record Out on your mixer and plug the other end into the Audio in/Rec In on your soundcard.

Get yourself a program that will record WAV files, I use creative recorder that came with my blaster live but the windows sound recorder prog should do just as well.

Setup your recording program to accept audio from your soundcard's audio in and then record your set.

When your done you should have a nice wav file of your set, open up your CD Burning prog, set it to make an Audio CD, drag your wav file into the playlist and burn your CD.

I've done this loads of times so if you need and help send me a PM/E-mail.
