Hi,

after redoing all my network i have

linksys router config page 192.168.1.1 and that has a SB5100 Haxor, config page 192.168.50.1

netgear router config page 192.168.2.1 and that has a SB4100 Stock, config 192.168.100.1

Any way when i'm connected to the linksys router i can access the config page of the router 192.168.1.1 but i can't access the modem 192.168.1.50 (config page)

If i connect to the netgear router then i can connect to the routers config page 192.168.2.1 and i can also connect to the config page of the modem 192.168.100.1

So any ideas when i'm connected to the linksys network 192.168.1.1 i can't connect to the web page of the modem 192.168.1.50 ?

i have to plug the modem in direct to the comp to be able to edit the config page etc.

I used to be able to, when i had ntgear connected to linksys i could connect to all config pages of the routers and the modems.

I know i posted the other thread "how to connect to routers together" and i left it alone but i'm thinking

this is my lay out

linksys does my home network... on 20 meg connection

laptops
TV streamer
Radio
Computers
dream

Then i have my xbox (not that bothered about being on the network, as i prefered for it to have it's own connection so it's not disturbed by downloading etc on the other computers)

xbox 360 netgear router 10 meg connection

So is there a way that i could if i wanted to connect the 2 routers togther so they all operate on the same ip address but netgear will have it's own 10 meg connection that is only used for xbox and then the 20meg connection is doing my home network.

Not realy bothered if i can't i'm just wanting to get to the haxor webconfig page 1st off please..

i've beeen reading and i have seen that i could connect router 1 to router 2

Router 1
ip 192.168.1.1
DHCP: Enabled

Router 2
ip 192.168.1.2
DHCP: Disabled

and i think that will then put both routers on the same network but will router one still use it's own modem and router 2 use it's own one but still share across the network...

ok sorted.

What i done was on router 1 linksys i set it to 192.168.1.1 with IP range
192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.19

Then on router 2 i disabled DHCP and set it too 192.168.1.2 with IP range
192.168.1.21 - 192.168.1.50

2nd router ip address 192.168.1.20 connected to 1st router via network cable.

so all my devices laptops and that run off the 1st modem and my xbox runs off it's own one, but all networked together now so can see xbox and both config pages of both routers

Simples....
