Just stuck a 32" LCD in the bedroom, need a wireless media streamer to connect to my media server (Universal Media Server) - anyone using one they can recommend? Just want a cheap one, only have occasional use, doesn't have to be full HD.

Raspberry Pi would be a good idea but would need a remote and wireless adapter - or maybe use an app with it? Any suggestions?

depending on the tv the pi with openelec will allow it to be controlled over hdmi.

my LG is temperamental but my friends Sammy panel controls the pi fine.

if not an app would be fine and you can pick up compatible small usb wifi adaptors for it for about £5 if i remember right

If you just want a player that will play nearly every thing, that holds a hdd or external, and has a user display on the front google scan comps and search cit hmp 3500 about £15 got one in the bedroom.

Ps could not edit,
if you find the specs on there page it is about £25 reduced from about a ton,
Go to ebay and find on there same firm but only £15 on there.

Cheers all, in the end got a WDTV Live from a member on here :D
