browser showing 404

hi all
as stated trying to access yahoo mail and getting 404 error. all of my browsers (firefox- ie 8- safari ) are doin this on yahoo site. i get through log in and then goes to 404. any help appreciated. its not the server as i can access on phone

Yahoo detects that you are using mobile browser and routes your phone to the mobile version of their services.

Try mail.yahoo.co.uk as that is working fine here.

Also, because it is across all browsers, try resetting your modem/router.

no joy mate it takes me to 404. rebooted pc and router still the same

hi all managed to get it sorted. pc was full of malaware. for anyone else having the same problems this is what i done

google and download malawarebytes
quickscan pc
delete all malaware

Personally, i'd do a few extra steps to properly clean it

1) Turn off system restore
2) update malwarebytes
3) boot into safemode
4) Run FULL scan in safemode
5) reboot as normal.
