UB40 saxophonist and co-songwriter Brian Travers, one of the founding members of the chart-topping reggae group, has died at the age of 62.
His bandmates said they were "devastated" by the news about "our comrade, brother, founding UB40 member and musical legend".
They said he had endured a "long and heroic battle with cancer".
He had surgery to remove two brain tumours in 2019 and reportedly had another operation earlier this year.

Sad sad news R.I.P , UB40 were on of the 1st bands I ever saw live very early 80'before they were mainstream, it was at Preston Guild Hall. I'm not 100% but I think Aswad supported them a Reggae band with about 10 in it . The crowd was mainly made of rasta's and I remember the dirtiest biggest ice cream cone joint been freely passed around then a tall rasta guy said to me, "Ya wan sum maan ??, take it, enjoy !" and he passed me a 1ft long joint.

Best gig Ive ever been, I still tell people today about it,
