Brake problem

Got a weird problem with my brakes. They feel very spongy on first press then harden up. I have bled them and was convinced it was just air so took it in for a full fluid change just incase. Before I start ripping them to pieces any ideas what to look for?

I did change the rear disks and pads around 1000 miles ago but no idea what i could have done to cause this!

get somebody to hold the rubber hoses while you press the brake the hoses will do that if they are breaking down swelling I had a car fail the mot with that problem one year worth checking even if to only eliminate the hoses

a loose wheel bearing,caliper seized on guide pins ,pads seized in caliper or air in system will cause your problem.What type and year is it?
