Blue ntl home remote

Hi ppl,

I have just bought two NTL home remotes off flee bay, they are blue in colour but dosen't want to work with my pace 1000, anyone know why?

P.s its not the battery because the red light comes on.

the blue remotes will ONLY work with the Samsung boxes and the last pace boxes, 4000 models i think.

Well just ended up with two useless remotes, unless anyone wants a swap for one that works with a pace 1000.

depending on which of the two types of blue remote you have,one type can be converted to work with the 1000.If the silver channel up/down buttons go around the edge of the remote you are unlucky but if they are the smaller ones you can convert by removing a resistor.try convert and remote in search

The blue colured remotes dont work with the 1000, you will have to buy the black version that looks exactly the same. I have got one of those and it works perfectly with my 1000.

i have spare remote to swap, cos i need a blue on for a spare sammy.

so i will be happy also LOL
