Blank channels help needed

So the easiest way would be to get oscam to read it and newcamd to share it using CCcam.cfg?
Doing this means no changes to CCcam.cfg only adding a N line,
Have i read this correct?

Yep Oscam reads,uses newcamd protocol to connect it to CCcam,which then shares as per usual,only then need nline in your CCcam.cfg

Mind you if doing the above on a E1 box its harder as you need Oscam to start first :)

Have booted up a DM800HD and loaded oscam and cccam, seems to start ok but the picture is blank. this card was working ok the other day although a few entitlements may have expired since. (spare card not used in box).
Can anyone see what the problem is?

You need to enable dvbapi in oscam.conf,and add a dvbapi user to oscam.user, to be able to watch channels on the same box you are using as a server :)

oscam.conf

[dvbapi]
enabled = 1
au = 1
user = dvbapiuser
boxtype = dreambox

oscam.user

[account]
user = dvbapiuser
pwd = password
monlevel = 4
keepalive = 1
au =
group = 1

no mate

oscam starts first all time

cant remember what image is on it as not hooked to tv for ages

old image uk ready

running sweet as

wiz569, I currently use CCcam with a paid sub for a cline but some channels have recently stoped working. Some other punters using the same server that I'm subbing to have said they switched to using Oscam and they got the missing channels back. Would that be possible on a DM500s?

be possible but would have thought source would need to do it as well

Have read that the problem with some channels missing is something to do with the way the info is sent from the server using CSP. Somthing about the data being in the wrong order which CCcam doesn't detect but Oscam, on the client box, can apparently sort it. I've got a DM500s using the Commando 14.7 image and would like to install Oscam to see if that is the case.

have seen no support for csp now

all above me anyways

oscam best for now

Card trying to decode but doesn't seem to be happening. This is the same result for all channels the example below if LFC tv chosen because it should open even with a FTV card.

Any ideas?

as above need latest version

oscam v6611 cardserver+cccam v2.13 I think.

Where can I check and how do I check/change?
Surely even an old version of oscam would open some channels?

Older versions require boxid = xx xx xx xx in oscam.server [reader]

Obviously replace xx xx xx xx with your actual boxid/boxkey

Webif of oscam will normally tell you version.

If you have an older version installed, replacing the binary with newer version does the trick. (names must match exactly and it has to be stopped first)
