BIOS/UEFI BIOS password reset / master pwd generator

Here you go guys, not my proggy so thanks to original developer. This little thing is hard to come by.

This will unlock your Dell computer whether it is BIOS or HDD master password.

You need to enter the full Asset number including the "-" for the BIOS and the first ** for the HDD password.

Even works with the dreaded 595B models.

will be 11 characters followed by -595B characters may contain ***

yes has worked, many thanks, seems there may be a fault on the hard drive and power supply too as keeps switching off won't complete boot. but your help is much appreciated

Tried the Dentist's sig link, no luck

Dell N7110 need "Password/Unlock Key"
Original password was "fleet" or "mouse" or blank
Unlock Hint: "6136467B"
ST: D85C3S1
ESC: 28790862625

normally password from serial for this model doesn't work but you can try 63po6vsz 4th is o for one

if it doesn't work try entering wrong password 3 times and post error code

I've been having a go at my Dell N4110 on my own before I try the paperclip method. Using the generators, I enter my service tag (in my case it would be F4XVSQ1 ) or do I need the bios version after the service tag (in my case it would be F4XVSQ1-**** ).
Or do I enter in the unlock hint code?
I'm pretty sure its the service tag but none of the combinations i generate have worked for me.

you need the suffix, one of these -595B -3A5B -D35B -2A7B
generally if it doesn't give a suffix then its -595B

on some models you cannot calculate the password from service tag
some models give a system error code of 5 digits if wrong password is entered 3 times and sometimes a password can be calculated from error code
