Bandwidth question.....?...

Right, when the PS3 is online:

Click on list available capture interfaces. This will list all your network connections. Your active one will have some numbers going up next to it - just click the start button associated with it. This will then show you all the network activity taking place on your network.
 
there is no scan option........

It might be easier to just try and find information from someone else who has analysed a particular games data throughput. I'm sure this info must be on the internet somewhere.

Dont the game specifications tell you anything about bandwidth requirements or usage ?

You dont need to scan the PS3's connection, you use the one on your PC....

I agree with Nozzer, this might not be the best way for you to continue. It may be better for you to spend some time on Google instead...
