Backing up Wii games!

does anyone know how to back up Wii games? i dont want to give out or swap my originals cus they always come back scratched.

ive been told i need a LG Wii dumper drive for the PC and Raw dump or soemthing?

i cant find much on it apart from some guy on ebay selling the LG 8164 drive thats needed. cant find them anywhere else.

can someone comfirm this? has anyone got the above set up working?

You need the application "Raw Dump". This rips the data off the DVD if you have one of the following drives:

Use a LG-8164b or LG-8163b or LG-8162b or LG-8161b dvd drive

and that's about it

An LG-8164b drive is supported by RawDump, so if this is the drive then yes it should work.

You will need either of these LG drives:-

* LG-8164b
* LG-8163b
* LG-8162b
* LG-8161b

As yours is the 8164 not the 'B' version i am unsure if it will work.

Just search google or fleabay for the 8164b and you should find one for less than £20

yeh, its a 8164B, the last letter just represents the color.

i found 1 chap on fleabay i made an offer of £25 each he accepted cus i wanted 2 units, parcelforce delivery next day! should be arriving today!
