What an interesting site..

Just checked mine to see if mines on the Database as i didnt have insurance for 2 days as i was on holiday.. (parked up) and mines on :) Happy days..

As a further test i just check the van accross the road.. Un-insured.. Interesting..

could come in handy this.. bookmarked :)

I think normally insurance companies hold it open for 7 days unless you cancel.
They won't pay in a claim though.
It's a really interesting site though. Gonna have a lot of fun with it.

EDIT: Just read that confirmation bit that you have to tick. How's anyone gonna know. Stupid but I suppose they are covering themselves

i've used this before and it is genuine
the only thing is it will take a few days to update,
i used it when i purchased my road tax online
another tip is, if you go to the post office they will not renew your road tax if for example your car is registered to your wife and the insured is only you to drive, but if you buy road tax online, they will issue the road tax as long as the vehicle is insured.
also this will not show vehicles that are covered under fleet policies
