are av scart selector adaptors any good ??

hi guys,

got a new lcd tv this week.. problem is that it only has 2 scart connections.. I have four equipments...

seen a few scart connectors auto and manual.

Please advise is it worth gettting one ? I mean is the quality the same..

Please also advise which one is best, auto or manual..

hi m8 i picked up a SLX gold switching scart box from a cheap wharehouse for £3.75 and its perfect 4 scart sockets and 2 av sockets . It has manual push button switches to select the out put no noticable loss of quality

I have a manual switching one with 4 sockets and phonos too, no problems only regret is didn't get a remote one as your forever out your chair to change buttons.

Go for a manual one. Too many problems with the auto ones.

cheers guys.. just another thing though.. there are three option now..

1. Manual with buttons (most people said go for this one )
2. Automatic (some people said dont go for this as there are too many problems) besides it needs to be plugged in.
3. the manual one with no buttons (is there any loss of quality on this???)

please advise. shall I go for 1? or 2? or 3?

#3 would be an automatic then if it has nothing to control the feed.

1 is the one to go for.
