Any update on Sly card pairing?

What Tompson receiver did you buy??? It only works with a certain model which has been named many times here in the thread

The 4e300 one, DSI8215, guy sold it said it was the special one i need for a server, so i assume he knew what i wanted it for? and i think the card is in ok as it syncs in the logs and shows the mhz so i dont think it would do that if it was in backwards but i will double check you have me doubting myself now.

Yes my card is in a Smargo in my server that runs debian and has worked fine for the last 2 years

Ok try the following:

Might work.........you can also let Oscam set the MHZ automatically if you look in the webinterface all you have to do is click in the box.

under readers / smargo there is a box called boxkey under

Reader specific settings for protocol smartreader
and there is a box under Reader specific settings for Videoguard called boxid which does yours have the boxkey in?​

Not too sound daft but i assume you got the correct version of the Oscam Binary for your Box whether it be a sat receiver or a PC as there are numerous different versions

yes it has been working fine for 2 years no issues at all. all i'm getting is, you have your boxid in yes?

I wonder is it cause i put it back into the main sky box and it got an update? i have since paired it with the thomson and it works fine in the thomson but the girl did say she was making sure my box had the latest software i wonder is there something around that ? or did yours go into the HD box and then a thomson?

Have you the correct versuon of oscam binary for your receiver???? Digi247 asked the right question there.

New oscam versions dont need box key...........they read it themselves.

Mine was updated in the Tompson and then worked in oscam. Before that it had locked as it was paired to an Amstrad.

it was working perfect and i updated oscam using this link and chose the debian path and installed every module
i have the old oscam in also and that produces the same result.

I thought now we needed boxid in with the new pairing? ok i took that out and its the same with old oscam and with new

OK only thing i can think of without seeing your system is.......
Could the Smargo be causing a problem??? Maybe a software update??? I wont be held responible if it goes wrong!!!
Maybe you should do a usb scan to locate the smargo and edit your reader accordingly

then you would need either the X64 or i686 version dependant on which debian you installed with webif-libusb-pcsc-Distribution.tar.gz for Smargo readers

would you belive it was a dodgy smargo!!!! all this fecking around and i just assumed it was fine, i had a spare and swoped over and bang we are up 19 entitlements seen no probs!!!

Now will oscam update or do i need to go back into sky box again?

If you can see 19 entitlements you should be done with the Sky Box. All you have to do is get oscam running.

its seeing 18 entitlements and still pushing some of my ECM's over to my friends server, can you share your ECM white list ? how many entitlements have u on yours?

And shoudl the LB
