another bricked wii problem

Gents -- need yer help

i have a bricked wii ( some daft bugger installed korean option ) and now get a corrupt screen . The firmware is 3.4U and have pre installer .028 installed and i can get to the HBC via a gamecube controller ( the wii remotes wont sync ). However when i choose wad manager ( 1.3 ) i get the option to press A but this doesn't seem to work and the wii just sits there . I can also get the system version via the gamecube controller by pressing the d pad . i gather i need to re install the system wad but cant get past the wad manager option A .

Any idea's

theres a disc about mate that can reinstall system menu apparently i havent used it myself though m8,

tried disc but cant get it to boot before the corrupt screen appears -cant understand why wad manager doesnt respond to A being depressed so that i can install other wads but works with other apps on the sd card ?

try a different wad manager.

tried 1.3 and 1.4 -- any other about worth trying

try 1.2 m8 and the custom wad manager you get with the softmii pack.

just been on softmii irc channel and someone is having the same prob and one of the mods told him to try loadmii it might be worth a shot mate LINK

how about running any region changer again, write 3.2e m8 ? wifi enabled and sorted is it?
