sounds like your username and pwd are wrong then..

So let me get this right so far. You CAN connect to the dbox through FLASHFXP and you can see folders like TUXBOX, BIN, TMP ?

have you ever been able to access the folders via FTP?

if so have you ever modified any?

if so if you modify certain files it can lock your image so you cant do aything to it.

if that was the case do a reflash

Check you have all flashfxp settings correct in this guide

Also
Go to control panel then network connections
right click on local area connect and pick properties.
there you will see underneath connect using....your network card
next to this will be a configure tab click on it.
then click on the advanced tab
you need to look for flow control, duplex, media type or connection type
drop the value tab arrow down and set to 10baseT_halfduplex or try automatic or autosense
turn off firewall and antivirus.

tHANKS FERGAL, Great tutorial on flashfxp, I reset the controls and transferred strait into temp and it workd. Followed the rest of box instructions and all went well only when i put the power back on the image is the same as ever, 1 dutch provider only and again channel scan gives nothing as before!!!

Only now the flashfxp cannot connect to the box??? So i checked the box and the i.p address has changed. So i changed it back to 1 above my p.c and stillfxp cannot connect.

I must be doing some thing wrong but what????

Really need some help here!
