Sensible Topic Amazon account locked

For some unknown / out the blue reason Amazon have locked my account. I have to fax them a bank statement and account details i.e. email address, registered telephone number using an online fax service "Hellofax".

I sent them a fax with a PDF bank statement and but when I rang them today the guy said I can't check if we have received it as it goes to the accounts section and I don't have access to them so I can't tell you if they received it or not.
Do these online fax service work OK if you need to send a fax to Amazon ?

I checked it all out before I did it. For some daft reason I am still logged in to my Amazon on my mobile so I got them to call me via my Amazon account the "Call Me" button and confirm that this is the correct fax number for Amazon and this is what I need to do. By all accounts it's the only way you can get it re-opened via a fax
