Advice please

Hi everyone. I've just received my Philips STB & smartcard, installed it, and have the few standard free to view channels. Now I need advice on how to go about modifying the card & getting all the other channels...is there a FAQ around for beginners like me ?

Also if someone could point out which programmer/card to buy. I've got a Win2000 system, hopefully there will be no compatibility problems !?

YES M8 The Elvis would be your best bet try www.divineo.co.uk and www.mb-electronics.co.uk and for your card try www.maxking.co.uk you need a 16f84 & 24lc16 eeprom wafer card £6 at this stage i would not play around with the original ondig card, But that is just my advise........Gazer.

Ok, I have been looking at the details of the Elvis. I was wondering about the card. On Maxking, they have Wafer card (which is 16K) and Wafer Card 2 (64K)...which one should I go for ? Has anyone tried out the Wafer 2 ?

16K wafer card is just fine and only £6 what a deal

Great. I've got the Elvis & the Goldcard, installed MultiProgrammer 6 which came with
the card...now what do I do ?
