address bar issue

sorry guys for a numty question...im using mozilla firefox as my browser...how come none of the websites i vist show up when i click the the little arrow down tab next to the refresh tab?..they use to before, and it saved me typing it in again and again, i use to simply just select it from the drop down list...ta

mine shows only about 10 when i click on the arrow
but if i type the start of the sites name IE dig..........a list of sites will show with digi in it.
what version of firefox are you on? 6 or 7?
im still on 6 cos i did not like 7.

Have you got private browsing turned on?

Options > Privacy Tab and then History. If you have the dropdown set to never remember it wont show any.

Possibly also the location bar isn't showing bookmarks/history and as MH has highlighted disable private browsing (if you choose custom mode)

Also if you use any cleaning utils like CCleaner it will remove the history.

doh...!...had the location bar set to remember nothing...what a dumb ass....!!lol...thanks guys all sorted.
